3K a year As a Medical Assistant, you will be a part of the Clinical Care Team and engage our patients to develop lifelong well-being and health.
The Medical Assistant makes a difference in people's lives, administers prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to ill, injured, convalescent, and disabled persons under direction of a Physician.
Required Qualifications An active Certified Medical Assistant/CMA or Registered Medical Assistant/RMA certification from one of the following organizations:
AAMA, AMT, ARMA, MedCa, NAHP, NAHT, NCCT, or NHA or willing to obtain certification within 1yr of appointment 1 or more years of Medical Assistant experience in 'back-office' direct patient care Current CPR certification Experience in a fast pace/high volume environment Working hours:
Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM Vaccine Policy Humana, and its affiliates, encourages primary vaccination and an initial booster for patient-facing staff, except in cases of approved exceptions, in keeping with existing policy.
We recommend eligible team members receive COVID-19 boosters per CDC guidance, including the updated booster, with specific protection for Omicron variants, but vaccination is not a requirement of employment.
