Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner - Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly - Provide excellent customer service and ensure guest satisfaction - Upsell menu items and promote daily specials - Assist with basic food preparation and plating when needed - Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner - Clear and clean tables after guests have finished dining - Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally - Process payments and operate the cash register accurately
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required - Strong knowledge of food handling and safety regulations - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to provide outstanding guest service with a positive attitude - Basic math skills for handling payments and making change - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and policies - Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 25 pounds.
The ability to sanitize work areas and follow proper hygiene practices is also essential.
